WELCOME TO NORWOOD CAMPGROUND
Our family is proud to be the owners of this wonderful campground nestled on Morgan Mountain. Norwood Campground offers 82 campsites surrounded by hardwood trees. We are located on nearly 40 acres with private access to Lake Tillery featuring 6 boat slips and a fishing pier for our campers’ enjoyment.
As a family owned and operated campground, our mission is to deliver a quality camping experience that will incorporate a focus on the strengthening of family relationships, an environment that allows individuals to relax and reduce stress, and an organic increase in physical activity simply due to the natural environment that the outdoors delivers.

What a fantastic spot! We’re only an hour away, so it’s perfect for a weekend for us. Bathhouses are nice and clean and there are lots of options for activities all on site. From the park and the jumping pad to the pool and the pond — we’ll come back with new options for fun. Love the community events. Between popsicles in the park and pancakes on Saturday, feels like there’s always something to look forward to. Super family friendly. We’re tent camping, but LOVE the availability of electricity and WiFi at a great price. It’s worth spending a little bit extra from a State Park for these added amenities. Next time we’ll bring the canoe and check out the lake accesses.Also love the flexibility of early/late checkouts. Very easy to communicate or keep to yourself. We’ll be back!

We went for a weekend in April and stayed near the playground. The weather was great and our kids really enjoyed it! Very family friendly and clean. The staff were helpful and kind!

The campground and the staff have become like family. The staff is amazing and very accommodating. We ran out of propane during the night in the winter and they got us filled right away. They have lots of activities for the kids and are very family friendly. It is our favorite place to camp.

Clean extremely friendly excellent customer service very fairly priced close to lake facilities and great restaurants store is supplied with most needs for campers and some grocery items very clean shower house and laundry areas.
